I am a grown-up

I am a grown-up at last, I say,

I do not need anyone to define who I am.

I have long since shed

That insecurity.

I have maturity,

I can be alone-
Until you don’t phone.

I am a grown-up at last, I say,

I do not need anyone

To be myself and who I am.

I have long since shed

That insecurity,

That need to be a part of two-
Unless the other is you.

From ‘A Red Dress, and other poems’

I tend to live in my head a little too much so this is a snippet of the worlds inside me. I only hope it does scare somebody aware. I like to live my fantasies, inspired by my every reality. Enjoy this ride with me. "I like to turn things upside down, to watch pictures and situations from another perspective." Ursus Wehrli
