I am a grown-up

I am a grown-up at last, I say,

I do not need anyone to define who I am.

I have long since shed

That insecurity.

I have maturity,

I can be alone-
Until you don’t phone.

I am a grown-up at last, I say,

I do not need anyone

To be myself and who I am.

I have long since shed

That insecurity,

That need to be a part of two-
Unless the other is you.

I tend to live in my head a little too much so this is a snippet of the worlds inside me. I only hope it does scare somebody aware. I like to live my fantasies, inspired by my every reality. Enjoy this ride with me.
